First Steps in Ritual
Often people drawn to esotericism are unsure of how to begin. This week-long series of simple nightly exercises is a great introduction to ritual, and will help you discern where to go next.
I was recently involved in an online discussion with someone who was new to magic - she was from a non-European background but also interested in classical European mythology, witchcraft and magic. Essentially, the problem she was having was where to start. Go with the deities and traditions local to her, or those which were interesting but less familiar? And what exercises should she be doing in any case? This sort of thing is pretty common, and it's made worse by the profusion of books, courses, tutorials and articles which are readily available these days. I decided to challenge myself to write a ritual for her to use to help in understanding how she should begin. It was a interesting exercise, and I think the result will be useful to anyone who is starting out and is wondering what to do first.
What I put together is clearly grounded in the Western Mystery Tradition, but it's neutral enough that it should support a wide variety of potential outcomes - essentially it's a weeklong series of rituals which calls for inspiration in the form of dreams. It draws on a lot of workings that I've done in the past, and is close enough to those that I can confidently say it will be effective. If you are in the same position - looking for where to begin - you could do a lot worse than trying it out.

If you do give it a go and feel minded to get in touch, I'd be very interested to hear from you.
